I hope everyone had a great Chinese New Year!
Coincidentally this year's CNY lands on Valentine's day, from what I've heard this is the first.
Also, this is my first time spending CNY in Hong Kong which is quite an interesting experience. Because people take this holiday seriously. I had 4 days off from work which is more days off than Christmas.
With the long break, a group of friends and I decided to rent out a holiday apartment in the outskirts of the busy HK city life. In a little village known as Ham Tin Chun in Bu-O. A little village where yak runs free and a community where everyone knows each other . Even though the weather was downcast with rainy and chilly, we made most what we could during the the days off
Happy Chinese New Year!

I've just realized this month's 18th will mark my ONE YEAR in Hong Kong, hence my blog title of 18th of February. My life in HK has surely been an exciting adventure, cheers to the next year. Speaking of new year, Chinese New Year is just around the corner which will land exactly on Valentines' day, a holiday created by Hallmark. I will surely post pictures of my CNY festivities.
Here are some pictures within the last 3 months:

NEW blog in hopes of finding contributors

My friend (Lucy) and I started a NEW BLOG called "Our Purchases".
A blog that documents what we've bought with a snip bit about the product and how much it cost.
There is no set guidelines to follow, but a story with the purchase is always intriguing.
The blog is still in the works, we have been procrastinating over it. My new year resolution is to frequently update 18th of February and Our Purchases. If you would like to contribute, don't hesitate to ask.
