I care about the EARTH. I ride public transportation.

MTR which stands for Mass Transit Railway, is the metro system of Hong Kong.
It's the VTA of San Jose, Metro of NY, and BART of the Bay Area.
The mass population of HK don't drive for MANY reasons.
1. Gas is SUPER expensive. You think gas is expensive in the states.. well come to Hong Kong and see for yourself. We pump gas by the gallons, people in Hong Kong pump by LITERS!
2. Parking is a B*tch! You better learn how to drive backwards, if you want to drive here!
The parking spaces are super narrow, you will have to get out of the car before the driver parks into his/her designated space in an apt complex.. AND PARALLEL PARKING!
3. With limited space comes expensive parking structures.
4. Why drive when you can get a TAXI with just a wave.
5. You better drive a nice car! Cars with dents, taped up rear view mirrors, or missing hub caps is a disgrace. (the garages in the video aren't typical garages for 'regular' people)
Here is a video on HK Garages titled:
I don't drive because:Hong Kong Parking Garage Makes Us Feel Inadequate
1. I'm poor
2. I'm terrible at parallel parking
3. I'm really POOR
4. I like to people watch on the MTR.
not Dead, just Healthier

I'm not dead, I've just joined a gym in Hong Kong.
Since, I can't be home in CA..why not think I'm there, by joining a gym called CALIFORNIA. I have no idea..WHY?!?! they would call it CA. It's equivalent to 24 Hour Fitness in the states. They are the same company.
During my 2 weeks back home, I realized..I've gotten FAT. Yes, you've read it right..it's without a P. In Hong Kong standards, my size is considered as OBESE. From seeing the calorie counting results of my friend Mr. Rogerson, I've finally realized I have to get myself in shape.
Today, I went to CALIFORNIA for the first time and boy did it knock my socks off. It's so high end! The facility is gorgeous and the changing room/bathroom just took my breathe a way. Bally and Gold's Gym has nothing on this gym.
Also, I got my body fat measured and I've barely made it in the average range. I was 2 points from below average in the body fat standard. In addition, the trainer at the gym, who was evaluating my body fat and discussing my 'goal' which I said was to fit into my size 26 jeans. Then said without any hesitation that he can get me to a SIZE 23 in 1-2 years. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! He said he was once a size 23!!!! I haven't been a size 23 since elementary school. What has the world come to!
